I might be coming along, I have a meeting on Saturday, not sure how long it will drag on. I've a Tri-X loaded in my M3 with Cron on if I don't have time to get my gear, otherwise I'll bring other fun cameras. I only shoot primes, and I might bring along a few nice old prime lens with Canon Adaptors to use on EOS bodies.

I shoot street with a FF body and 85mm ZE Planar or 50mm f1.2 (but a lot of flare)
Hope my eyes work... All manual lens!

Went for the photo seminar conducted by Nat Geo photographer Catherine Karnow at Capitaland building@ Tanjong Pagar, on Fri morning.
So for lunch, i stroll across Ann Siang Hill & Club Street with my camera.

I shot:
1) 2 "Foreign Talents" taking afternoon nap by the side of the road
2) A couple taking wedding photo with old buildings there......
3) Tourist taking photo of the wedding photographer that is shooting the couple (with camera ah, not gun...)
4) took pix of the "legendary" Uncle that start up a make-shift barber shop with a canvas as shelter, old style barber chair that i see when i was very very young, a cracked mirror and old-skool shaver...Located in between the back lane of 2 rows of shophouses.
This Uncle featured in reclaim.sg, newspapers, tv and some overseas magazines...
For making use of "gap" in this highly urbanised country.

I try to avoid shooting ppl eating@eatery or office workers.
So with my encounters i think even during "Zombieland" wk end we can get decent "targets"...

Ok, back to the legendary Uncle...he tried to cover his face when i try to shoot....then later when i shoot some old folks near Buddha tooth relic temple, an old lady was unhappy with mi.

I think old folks in certain status would not like their situation to be "documented".
I do think i have to remind myself to ensure they be given the respect they seek.

So if we get ppl to pose for us, is consider Street Portrait or Street Photography?
How invasive are us, to ppl in the area?

U guys seen or taste "water cockroach" before?
insects communicate with smell, hence there's this "water cockroach" that is crash up in sauce or paste in some thai or cambodian food....Due to this "water cockroach" having a unique smell & taste...
u might had ate it without realising it...i can show u the "water cockroach".........

If u guys tried Thail's "Changs" beer before & can read thai, there's a ingredient listed as "golden water" in thai...u go figure what it is....

Maybe next time Some other girl . lol
