i'd think tt singapore is out of stock right now.

you might be able to get one more set at alan photo because they told me this evening that they had one more set in office.

Cathay always has "1" set free. But you'll have to pay 4300 for it.

Then after that one sucker buys the set, another "1" set will be available

The normal price for the camera should be about 3950, but because of supply demand issues, don't expect to get that price anytime soon.

Just wait for a few months and it'll drop lower than that.

The nikon d700 came out and was selling for 4400. Now its 3500

Parisilk @ Holland V had 1 last one. Selling at RRP - SGD $4299 with Credit card. Use cash, 2% off. The shopkeeper said even William from Cathay tried to get the stock from them. No stock everywhere and new stock isn't going to come in soon. Latest i heard, new ones only will come in next year. Sales price unlikely to soften for the next 4 months due to strong Yen and USD appreciation. Those who quote 37++ will not have stock and will continously proclaim not to have stock even when stock arrives. u know what i meant.

Really? That's a real good bargain. Thnks for the info.. Would you be referring to Tin Cheung having the new stock coming after christmas or most of them?

No, I am not ready to move to FF yet. One thing you might consider is the warranty part. Canon camera only provides local warranty so if you buy it from HK, you will need to bring it back to HK Canon if you need servicing within the warranty period.

I'm wondering why so many shops already selling body only package, but Cathay Photo still haven't started selling it and claim that the stock hasn't arrived yet :think:
