Cos it's magnesium alloy and has weather sealing, at least that's what nikon says

I saw several sets in JB last Wed. when I went to eat seafood.... Not that cheap, costs almost the same as what was quoted by SG shops.

I think the price went up because the singaporeans are now going in for the grip. When I got mine at JB i was quoted 190sgd

In JB, as I said in the post. I think someone else here posted that he got one at 190sgd as well. Mine was 2 months back, given the situation now, dont think you can get the same deal

i just came back from KL, grip in mid valley asking around rm520 to 560... rm520 no stock.. rm560 got stock..

What is the quote price in Singapore huh.. Now I also tinking of getting 1.. cos cant grip properly (either i butter fingers or portrait with sb-700 weight unbalance) and govt giving money on May 1. :haha:
