the AF Zoom-Nikkor 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED or AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED are both powerful zoom lenses, so probably u might wanna consider them?

Frankly.. it really depends on wat u're gonna take with the lens. But if u really have a budget to spare u can oso consider the famously known AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED lens.

as destiny_star said, depending on your budget, you have quite a few choices. Budget options (>1000): 70-300G, 70-300 ED, 28-200G. Top end gear(>1000): 70-200 VR, AF-S 80-200, AF-D 80-200, 80-400VR.

The above are just from Nikon. If you look at third party options, you get even more choices.

The 70-300mm D lens is about $650 from CP (i bought it about 2 months back). add the UV filter < $1k --> so BUY BUY BUY la

I was at CP today, somebody asked for the D70 kit, CP quoted $2150. And yes they have stocks. I believe Singapore widely has stock. TK Foto should have ample as they're the resalers for Nikon at the PC Show this time.

Lords has 2 kit sets on display, am pretty sure they have more stocks in their store.
