Dear guys,
Despite what you guys taught me, still I am having difficulties in converting the MXF files.

Although now the files are converted into smaller Mpeg2-DVD files and wav files for each clips. The resolution is smaller at 720x576. Despite attempts to change the file format and dimensions, either after converting strange sizes come out or it is unusable. I believe like photos, from Raw files you wanna high jpeg or tiff files according to your needs, my requirements for experimental video is this case too. Now decided to buy an AVCHD converter to convert directly into 1940x1080 for each clips.

I understand that whatever file format I converted to, it will lost a little details and info but I need to edit in high res so that next time I can change the finished files into smaller versions.
Advisable? Please enlighten... Thanks again.
