The rubberised handgrip on my 700si is not dry, in fact it's oozing some liquified stuff between the cracks. Does any owners of 800si or Dynax 9 have this problem on their cameras? The textured handgrips appears to be made of some hard polymer instead of rubber:dunno:

My already change, now grip better, but i did it in KM service centre, cost only abt $70 include GST.

However they can fit the 800si grip onto the 700si body for $80. I told them to proceed with the replacement and hope to get the 700si back by next week. The 9xi is still working perfectly.
