i see it and it still freaks me out

you see the red pattern? if you look carefully, u can make out the shape of a woman's face looking towards the bottom right, the outline of a neck and chin on the lower half of the frame, and ear towards the upper left corner
i must say ur imagination is quite good...as i can only c the chin and neck...tat's all...no other parts...but i think it should be very freaky when u got a woman face in ur screen saver...:o

I was so sleepy when meeting stereobox this morning to buy some fabric for my school project. Happen that I draw some money, and... I forgot to take the money!

she is smiling with her eyes. not her lips. It's how 'silence' react toward her winning.

explanation ah..hmmz..im dreaming of one right now:bsmilie:

open to interpretation *runs away and hides*

lol the quality of my pic just seems to degrade each passing day, isn't it honey? ;p
btw, u haven't released the theme of the week for tomorow

*after see zaren thread on not to 'comprimise' on yourself*, i just remember a sentence ( if not from DP from mattlock ) that I really bear in my mind. Keep the best and dump the rest! Base on this i try to let myself trash images that i'm not really satisfied with regardless public opinion or how much 'sacrifice' i made on it.

But like stereobox mentioned, because of the 'deadline'... quality seems to drop everyday! mine also honey T___T

someone said to me before..

what is the difference between an amateur and 'professional' photographer?

the size of their dustbins :bsmilie:

interpretation : an amateur tends to keep most of his/her negatives/slides/prints, while a 'pro' will have a higher attrition rate, be more picky and selective about the 'good' shots. therefore, need a bigger dustbin to throw away all the bad stuff :bsmilie:

i just find the analogy very cute

I find your works like complexity in simplicity. Which to me seems extremely difficult. Russel once mentioned to be. The way to improve is to shoot and shoot, read, talk to people, travel. But there is still one question left answered. Why is it that when i compare my photo to the exact same photo shot by someone else, mine looks so much worse? in which your photos here applies to the way i feel. Its like... your shots are masterful, and to "replicate" it seems so hard. Care to Share?

Exceptional simplicity. But yet so complex.

nice analogy. But last time it's v hard also to 'trash' pix, specially if you already do this and that and this and that. Perhaps that's why few people stick on portfolio less than 20. Make sure impactfull.

this is an old pic.

the styling is simple and naive.

the food don't look appetising, dry and turning bad already.

the light? flat and lacks punch.

composition...what composition?

what IS THIS PICTURE??

it means nothing to anyone else. but this is the beginning of a beautiful dream. and it's real this time.
But sushi is 1 of my fav!!!
I like maguro sashimi.
