eventhough inanimate = not moving, living things does move.

that's how sunflower got their name, because they move according to the sun.
that's how we have this 'clock flower' ( is that the correct name? ) cuz they move according to the time.
As well as certain flowers that reach upon stimulation.

as for the pear... growing bigger = have motion right? From one point of skin level to another point. *sounds weird but the point is... perfect! :bsmilie:*
