i can't speak for AZhou, but personally, themes really help to make me think more about what i'm photographing.

it will perhaps be 'easier' to just shoot anything in sight that is aesthetically-pleasing, but i need some form of photographic discipline to help me focus :bsmilie:

on a even more personal note, i would really like to extend my thanks to you Zaren. for getting this PAD/W project going in CS.

although my work is very photography-related, friends often ask me, why i don't carry my camera with me. (or at least, why not anymore)

my answers are usually excuses like 'nothing to shoot', 'shoot for what'. and there are times when i just feel like enjoying the moment, instead of setting up an elaborate camera system and looking at everything tru the viewfinder.

but this project really got me to rethink my attitude towards photography as a hobby, as a passion.

if you want to be really abstract about it, i guess it can be considered some kind of 'curtain'.
it's actually one of those laminated stickers u stick onto windows to blur out the view from outside.

the colors came from light reflected onto the items outside the windows.

BTW, let me annouched this week theme, Voice

Zaren > Actually theme give me more 'idea' what to shoot. And also something to give a mood on our shoot.

Stereobox > You know who you are for me. You really really know that.

Actually I should say thanks to Zaren for the idea also. I'm not the type of gal who gonna bring around camera everyday specially when hang out with friends ( others than my nokia handphone cam if that counted ) however somehow this project made me did that.

I just realised that around 2-3 months ago I still the girl who gonna think of 'a-part-somewhere-on-your-stomach' when someone said 'diafragma'. I never ever think I gonna really enjoy taking pictures ( others than those silly look cute big eyes gimme peace handphone n neoprint pix )
