set ur shooting mode to multiple shots - this will increase ur chance of getting at least 1 good shot

i have tried this method. but it looks like either a miss or hit affair. :think:

I can't seem to find it on the internet, and there is no brand on the bag itself. I bought this one about 10 years in London and it has been serving me faithfully ever since.
Basically, its a rectangle bag about A4 size, with a valve (similar to aquarium air taps) There is a separate pump, much like the lens pump, which you connect to the valve. Once the camera and bag are seated firmly on the support, you start sucking out the air with the pump until a vacuum forms inside the bag, which caused it to become solid and take both the shape of the support as well as the camera.
If anyone can show me how to put a pic on this thread, I would be glad to put the picture up.

Hey thanks!! how'd you do that??? maybe you can show me a step by step method. What I did was to go the the gallery and right click on the image and then select copy shortcut. Then I get back to the reply thread and click on the insert image button followed by pasting the shortcut on the dialogue box. So where did I go wrong on this?

How about trying:
1) Mirror lock-up (only in certain situations);
2) Use timer so that you can focus on keeping camera steady, not on pushing the button (with its recoil etc)

You could usually find some means to stabilise yourself. E.g. leaning against a wall, tucking in elbows, controlling breathing.

What about if I want to capture a very nice lamp, i just cant use flash, what shutter speed shld i use or should i use without flash. flash wld make it too bright. thx.. need advice
