Hi Folks, Sorry to disappoint u guys but its hard to conduct due to time constraints. Having a lot of travelling and editing backlog now :embrass: will be postponed until future notice.

Apologise for the disappointment! But if u really like to have any advise on steadycam stuff can drop me a PM.

Wah bro...have to seek your advice alot man! Still waiting for my Flyer....

Oh nice. The 1st new flyer in SG I guess. We can go for "workout" together sometimes =) I hope u bought extra weights or its gonna be pretty flippy. Let me know when it comes.

wah flyer sia.... bro full rig wif arm isit? cool man... tested that courtesy of the kind ppl in h.warta... cool rig.... thumbs up but remember steadicam operations 101 listen to your back if it can't take it than dun fly it.... yeah

hmm.. i have a steadycam pro 2000. With the cam mount on it. It's kind of heavy!!!

it is heavy steadycam is no joke , there is a guideline in carrying a steadycam , 30 mins on 30 mins off... so you have to listen to your back and start lifting weights to strenghten your lower body or it can take aheavy toll on your back... and also the cg or centre of gravity and balancing must be right in order not to injure 1self... and it's not fun especially your steadycam weighs 25kg inclusive of rigs and camera . so take care of yourself during your stedicam operating session's

hahaha, agree. So i will hire steady cam operator instead next time. :D

Does this look heavy? Hee hee my old rig..

looks bulky lei , u wear until like going for war. nevermind but still interest me

yongniro, you r right that it is not light. But if you understand what a stabiliser system does, you will know that all of them are the bulky in a way. Of cse, that is subjective to the type of camera that you use.

This is more suitable for cameras from 2 to 5kg, not handycam.

so... when will this workshop happen? 4mth+ liao.. :)
