Hi guys,

Here's sharing some of today's takes. Quite pleased at how they turned out.
A great big outing with many regulars and new members turning up, certainly nice to see IR interest growing amongst us.

As for the new members, do not be put off by the hassle of compose > focus > manual focus override > attached filter > cover eyepiece > shoot.
In another way, think of it as way to let you control, think and compose the photos rather than snapping away.

Same comments everytime - very sharp series.
Interestingly, your series came out much brighter compared to other series from Japanese Garden.

Hi Stan,

Nice and interesting series.
I like #4, #5 and #6.

#3 is my pick. But was wondering why you did that shot in portrait orientation, you happen to have the same shot in landscape orientation?

I like #1 kind of autumn feel... seem"tilt" in this pix

Hi stan....seems i got the 'tilt' virus too??? lol!!!

#3 is my pick. But was wondering why you did that shot in portrait orientation, you happen to have the same shot in landscape orientation?
I shot in portrait from the first composition, to create a 'dissappearing end' feel to the pic. Nver tot of landscape at all leh....

Any reasons to shoot it in landscape?
