Hi Zul, hope everything is alrite n waiting for news frm my best mate regarding the notebook. hope he can help me in recovering the loss.
Cool beans! I went for a shooting spree last Tuesday. Was at ECP in the morning till mid day, head to CBD to work on d spot we discussed before, to Canon SC for d 50mm prime servicing n ending up the day at sentosa. Brilliant outing n got myself sunburned. Lolz!
I will take time process those images as my notebook is not back n been busy preparing for business trip soon.
Well, hope u guys hav fun n catch up wit u boys when am back or manage to squeeze sometime before I leave town.
Cheers mate n hav a good one.
There is no reciprocity failure for digital as in film.
Cheers Jazpar! Hope all goes well wit ur big day.
Am preparing for an oversea trip soon n hope can plan an outin when am back in SG.
In the meantime, keep workin out wit d bad boy u purchased
So is simply a direct inversely reciprocal calculation?
I don't see the need for all these terms, so yes, you compensate in stops accordingly. Stop down 1 stop more for aperture, you double the timing.

Thomas - thanks for your help, I found the answer last night but your PM confirmed it. Checked it out today.![]()
Thanks Thomas,
Don't mind another question.
I notice some of your photos are as long as 4 to 6 mins which means has to do manual calculation setting cam on B. Do you simply apply reciprocal calculation from metering firstly without the ND? Is there any reciprocity failure as in film or a pure reciprocal calculation suffice. Thanks again.
BTW, really need alot of patience esp in the mid day - kenna sunburn. Ha ha.
great capture.. love that streak of light.![]()
Thanks so much, I really learn alot from you.
Hey good to hear that your laptop is recovering
Should have buzz me. We could get a good tn together lol !!
Went walking around the area again today with who-else but... The sky was better today but lacked cloud movements though. I got some shots of the building today, but couldn't really make anything out of it
maybe i'll process one and see the feedbacks I can receive out of it. Cool mate! can't wait to see your takes. From ECP to Sentosa you must have taken loads to keep you company when you are out for your business trip haha.
Thanks and yup, hopefully can meet-up again before you leave town.
Have a blast weekend and cheers to you too mate!![]()
Yea things are good thanks! Do let us know when you're back, let's go for a full day photo marathon!
Yup I'll work it as and when I have the time.
Have a good trip over yea, catch you when you're back. Cheers
Thanks WK for answering the queries...Cheers mate..
Commoner,
I usually expose the scene to obtain the optimal exposure and then calculate the number of f-stops to compensate the light lost based on the combination of ND am using.
Do take note to apply UV lotion if happend to work during midday..
Cheers guy..
