Sorry for the late reply guys. Thank you for the visit and KT for replying on my behalf.

I had never visited Tampines Quarry but would love to one day. Any idea how to go?

Cheers.

If u driving, u can park at Bedok Reservoir Carpark at Tampines Ave 10. Thereafter, either walk to the traffic light 200 meters away and cross to opposite side, or jaywalk (not recommended during peak hours due to heavy traffic)

Location is good for sunset, never tried sunrise. Waters are calm and peaceful. DO note that the grounds are extremely deceiving. What may seem solid stable ground may be soft. A popular spot for some people going there to fish but pay attention when setting up for the shot. Have cases of people drowning there before so do be cautious. Limited subjects for shoot but love it for the calmness of waters.

Wondering aloud, how would * s e n t i n e l s * change if the straight horizon becomes a vanishing non-horizon?.. would the bare tree stand out stronger as there is no horizon to cut across the tree? I am just thinking aloud. Thomas, would like to hear your views..

Ditto mate!! The dates are marked! :)

Fantastic work !
Would like to know what filters do you use to achieve clouds that are so streaky and give a sort of "zooming" effect?

Hi Gavin. thank you for dropping by and appreciate it.

Most of the Long Exposure work were done using hard ND filter; B+W ND110 or Hoya NDx400 which gives 10 fstop and 9 fstops light reduction respectively.

With prolong shutter speed, you will achieve a nice smooth steak of moving clouds which normally we do not have patience looking up and pause of 1 mins to see the movement.

Hope it helps...cheers mate..

PM me ur contact # and mayhap, can arrange with the rest of the boys as well.
