The chair is not there actually and was scouting that place and I found this chair on the corner and maybe its left by some fisherman.
Took it and placed it there for this shot. Something different...

I like the lower half of "remnants". the cloning is still a bit too abrupt for me. But I like the fallen branch, and some details of the objects under water.
"haveasit" is a winner! mind blowing! I can imagine printing a picture like that and hanging it on an empty wall. I too love the tones, it has an even spread of shadows, mid tones and highlight. Very pleasing to watch. The good composition is also a bonus.
You trek around Seletar quite a bit? Which part of Seletar is this? i supposed Upper Seletar? near Night Zoo?

Thank you EM for having time to enjoy the last couple of work and appreciate the feedback on the cloning done on the horizon which looks pretty arupt.
Normally, Ill copy the top part of the horizon (sky as I want remain as it is to show the exact movement in the sky the day ive captured it ) and paste it over the horizon. For the remants, I have skipped applying the gaussian blur to make it more not arupt. My bad!
Am pleased to know that you like the *haveasit* image. I forget to jotted down the processing steps for that piece. Too carried away during B&W conversion.
Yep, I like Seletar area but its going to change alot in couple of month time as on the previous visit, that area changed alot.
Seletar area is around the Seletar Airport and you will find Fisherman Kellong there too. U can go via Jalan Kayu or Yishun Ave 1 toward Yishun Dam. You will see it on your left if you go via Yishun Ave 1.
