Exposure works great for me (calibrated screen).

Refreshing take on Singapore landscapes. Thanks for sharing!

thanks for your explanation for minimalism!

learned something new again... yeah!

yes soulfly. this is good! how funny it seems that we were hdr crazy a few months ago and now we move to being more naturalistic.

Hi Jonathan,

I pretty much agree with you, more on naturalist lately but still very much interested in HDR...:)

Cheers my friend!

Wow! this looks even better with the 'clear' horizon.

The bordering works well and watermark is brilliant!

Thank you so much Zaren for pointing it out and appreciate your visit and liking it...:)

Good day!

oh really, how about now? :)

mmm now i can see it!

hrm, i think it can be better, the last one:

1) reflection not complete..

2) vignetting doesn't work for me

but it has a lot of potential.

by the way, care to share the location? :)

yes, i think i over cropped it and by the time i have saved the image, only i noticed on the reflection part..

noted on the vignet part...:)

actually, the location is taken right opposite Spore Woodland CP....so, consider cheated a little on the location and did cloning on the horizon....

i'm amazed that you can find a sea with empty horizon in Singapore,
since i've tried to go around and i found that all the horizon is surrounded by those tankers ;)

well, to be frank my friend, ive clone off all the tankers and the small island.

i 've covered surrounding beaches in Spore and I dont think I found one with clear horizon....:bsmilie:

I like this one, viewing at this size, not sure if it'll work better if the really short ones are cloned away.

I've always wanted to do a series like this, but can't get the ND filter. Can share which one are you using?

Thanks ahbian for dropping by!

Had try to clone it away but too blank and does not justify the overall frame..

Actually I hesitated to take it earlier as thought of shooting other things and shooting this later...by the time i return, its already high tide and that is what left.......its looks better at low tide...

Am using Hoya ND400 and got it from MSColor. Need to pre-order...

Hi TS,

im a newbie here can i know how you shoot these kinds of shots?

do you use a long shutter speed while keeping the aperture small?

btw your photos are very beautiful and serene. :)

cheers
