spare battery for k-r

weird, the bestbatt tech specs for the k-r battery is 3.7v. i thought the original one was rated at 7.4v, and my order one was 7.2 (compatible with 7.4)

be patient, i ordered it the other day, it will arrive in 6-8 weeks..... from personal experience.

in the meantime, have to live with one battery lor. :cry:

if it includes lithium ion battery, don't know how you are going to get it over from US.

i had tried ordering via vpost once, they happily told me that US postal rules don't allow them to move batteries or something... can't remember the context, think it was air mail or something like that. luckily the merchant was willing to refund. best part is, i ordered it through the vpost website..

yes, i heard that vpost wouldn't ship anything with a battery in it - read from a forum that somebody's e-reader got stranded by vpost. i used comgateway and mine (with lithium batt) went through. so maybe if comgateway ships, it may be ok ...only one way to find out. if i decide to order, will let you all know the outcome.

walau..never look at the specs..3.7V..Hope it's a typo error!!! Hahaha. Anw i bought since 5 pieces(!!) since freight did not vary much and prolly there will be takers. Paid almost S$120 for 5 pieces. If the batteries are usuable, i will offload maybe 3 pieces to any Kr-ians since I subsequently bought the AA adapter (from SLR)... I have lotsa rechareable since I am a K100d user...

Let's hope battery works..Merry Christmas..

Guys! Spare 3rd party batteries found in SGP!

It's at sgcamerastore. I think it's at excelsior shopping center, next to chiif's shop. Sets you back by 25 dollars though.

Battery ratings are similar to pentax own DLI109.

Just in time for my trip to MY.

That's very good news. $25 is reasonable for a second spare battery provided it does the job as specified.
