Sony's a350 price vs a200 price

Hi,

Actually the viewfinder for A350 vs A200 is quite comparable, both are bright enough.
Maybe A200 is a tad better but thats because i know it's bigger mag on paper.

So it's not a deal breaker.....but compared to A700's viewfinder now then you will find the difference hehe

The sony SE say can buy extended warranty online. Is that true?

So you quite a fair bit of extras. here are TWO places selling A350. one is sony and another is inside the fair (best denki?)

There's no extra warantee except Sony online registration that will give you additional 3 mths.

I just got my A350 today with the following Free stuff.
1) Dry box
2) additional 2GB MS PRo Duo (Sony)
3) additional 8GB CF (in exchange of 4GB MS PRO Duo) - not Sony one!
4) CF adaptor for MS PRO Duo card (Sony)
5) Tripod Stand (no brand, kind of cheapo)
6) Camera Bag (Original Sony)
7) Additional Battery (original).

Actually when i came back, i kind of think that #3 that i should stick to 4GB MSPD rather than changing to the no brand 8GB CF card. I could have ask them to give me 2 4GB MSPD in exchange of #5.

I guess as the show draws to an end, there'll be more freebies from the dealers (Best Denki and others).

So for now, i'll go explore my new gadget...

A350 has a more plasticky body. Definitely not as durable as the A700, besides, if I have not gotten my facts wrong, A350 does not use the CMOS sensor but a CCD sensor, so big difference in light sensitivity and noise issues, i.e. A350 is not as good as A700.

a350 definitely not same level as a700, but for beginners, i think its a good first dslr to use! however, a700 ftw :bsmilie:

Nope, I do not know what the screw is for too. Maybe the veterens here can enlighten us?

the drybox given is those portable type which probably need to to buy silica gel separately for it and need u to renew it monthly.
it good if u dun have much items, otherwise can also be brought cheaply at least than $50 i think:think:
