Thanks for all your recommendations. My concern is whether I can take satisfactory IR shots with the W5. Used a Oly C2100 that is very IR sensitive and can typically take hand held shots with shutter speeds of 1/60 to 1/125!
Any feedback on IR capabilities of W5 would be appreciated....
I've tried taking IR pix with my W1 (older bro of W5) using an unexposed negative as "filter". I wld say it's able to do a certain degree of IR (at least I got trees with white leaves after post-processing) but there's also the hotspot problem, but the degree varies depending on where u point & how sunny it was when the pic is captured.

Did a search on the following but to no avail. Pardon me for asking this on your thread. How does the Lumix LZ2 fare in comparison to the W5 or A85/95?

I was at Cathay this afternoon to try the LZ2 with the Hoya R72. Nope, it is very insensitive to IR. However, the Canon A95 shows some slight images, but it is considered still quite insensitive.
Anyone else tried the A95 handheld with R72?

Regards,
Mike
