Wah! like that also can.... please educated us on what is the problem? because even the blue stamina batteries that came together with my H2 is also 2500mAh....

Anyway, I am going to Marina Sony Gallery to get another set today because I went to IMM but they don't have it there esp. for the promo price of $63/-.
Read on general Forum. There is one forum about Sanyo 2500mAH NiMH battery.

It is about too fast self discharge of the Sanyo NiMH 2500mAH battery. In some case, full charging battery can lost its power within a day. But Sanyo never state (some kind of deny) if there IS a problem with its 2500mAH.

Arto.

Oh OK if you are saying that the batteries will lost its power within a day than I'm pretty save becos since my 1st charge on 25th, the batteries are still running fine or I should say I'm impress that it can last so long in my H2 (Maybe is H2 that is energy saving) lol !

Oh tat a good news... Thanks for ur info... But did u ask them izit on promotion? Or did they tell u when izit ending? Cos me wanna wait after pc show b4 deciding which 2 buy...

apparently its their promotional offer for PC show... so if u go down to pc show will be same price...

not sure how long it lasts..

maha and powerex, power combo, MTL, confirm cant go wrong. especially at that price. some quotes from the website..

Maha is once more in the top spot with their Powerex 2200 mAh cells "The Great Battery Shootout" by Imaging Resource.

PowerEx's MH-C401FS 100 Minute Cool Charger is awarded PC Photo's 2002 Editor Choice in its "Top 25 Picks."

"Charge completeness number of 94% in fast charge mode and 97% in slow charge mode are pretty good... I haven't really found any chargers that do a better job than this." "Overall, the C401FS looks like a nearly perfect battery charger for digicam enthusiasts.. Very highly recommended. - Don't think twice."

"A few companies make sophisticated chargers that work well with most types of rechargeable batteries, The MAHA Universal Charger and Analyzer is one such model."

"...in the four independent circuits and the lietime warranty and it's simply a no brainer... is the BEST charger on the market."

Whether you're a professional photographer who has several sets of batteries for your flash units, or just a person who has several digital devices which need a steadfast charger, the MH-C401FS is a very inexpensive way to make your life easier.

Wah bro... Do u get comission for selling their products? Full of praises for MAHA... Haha, Juz joking... Actually i also planning to get MAHA... But would hope tat it will drop a bit or bundle wif some extra stuffs since their 2700 Mha is coming out... On tight budget, cos buying Canon S3 also....

So from your battery, looks like Sony NiMH 2500mAH do not suffer Sanyo NiMH 2500mAH problem.....
But for sure, I avoid buying Sony NiMH 2500mAH. Powerex and Maha Charger is my choice if I need one.

Sanyo NiMH 2500mAH problem will fast self discharge not even put in device/camera  .

Arto.

i saw sony 2500 4 batt =$22... izzit quality better than PowerEx/ Maha Combo ??

honestly speaking, sanyo, sony, powerex, all around there... dont think there is one bestest one.

erm I have a sanyo 2300 mAh charger can it be used to charge 2500mAh battries to full?

yes, it just take slightly longer.

I got mine for S$65 at Mustafa's.

But beware, Sony accessories like battery chargers and their batteries have NO warranty except for the 14-day one-to-one exchange period. I emailed the local Sony support about this and it's confirmed.

It's damned solid but I sometimes get electrically shocked when touching the lower terminals of the charger.
