Just asked MS, they are selling around $965. Not sure if I should buy a new one or a second hand. Second hand still pricing around $850

For me, i will go for a brand new one instead for a peace of mind and a full 12 mths warranty.

Yeah makes sense huh. Price difference doesn't seem that great. Though I know of a set or two that transacted at about $750. Whether thats good enough a price difference is subjective.

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to take still shots with the RX100III, while recording in the video mode? The RX100 could do this and I just checked that that the II and IV can also do this but I can't seem to find this capability in the III. Thanks

Anyone can recommend me a mini tripod which can hold this camera. Will only use the tripod when gg overseas so I need something small and easy to carry around. Looking at $50 or less if possible but not sure if this price is suitable.

Manfrotto has a series called Pixi that might suit your needs. It's a little over your budget though TK has a moving sale now so maybe they will have it on offer.
