Really? Even the new Sanyo Eneloop AAs?

Apparently will hold 90% charge after 6 months and still 80% full after a year.

Where can you get these in Singapore? It has been released...

This is a really useful thread. I have the following impressions after reading it:

- Quick chargers, eg. 15-min types, are not really "quick"?
- 2500mAh batteries may not be longer lasting than 2000-2200mAh batteries!? Depends on brand, how it was charged, etc.

So what would you guys recommend a newbie like myself who is planning to buy a AA-based digital camera? What brand and type of rechargeable NiMH batteries + charger to get?

Well i can't really help much as i have only a 90min Sanyo charger. But its a good charger, 90mins means 90mins full charge. Ok almost full cos i dunno really full or not. :bsmilie:

My batt experience, after charging the batts, 2 weeks later. The ability to hold charge:
Sony Stamina 2100s. (Blue ones) - Approx 95% full
Konnoc 2500s - Approx 80% full
Sanyo 2300s - Approx 70% full
Maha Powerex 2200s - Approx 50% full.

Some batts like the Powerex discharges quite fast, while my Sony's can hold charge at 80% for at least a month. It will take about 3 months and more for the Sony to completely discharge itself.

i am using the sony 15min charger. got it from mustafa for about 65. the funny thing is the 15min charge is for 2500mah batteries.those rated lower actually needs more time.

i have tried charging some AAA batteries(900mah) so far no problems. the manual says that batteries have to left in the charger for 10 mins in order to get full charge for non 2500h chargers.

anyway, the cooling fan will keep going for a while even after the battery is charged.

only thing is this charger doesnt have discharge funciton.

help! to those who have e 15 min charger, my charger keeps blinking yellow when charging some of the batteries. what does it means? i accidentlly thrown my user manual away.
