Sony PMW-F3 with S-Log Coming soon?

Sony is upgrading the PMW-F3 with a software update which will allow 4:4:4 output.
Upgrading price is hefty though.

sometimes, as awesome as it can be, end users always no budget for post & finishing in 4:4:4 ......so end up with compromises.
I know of people opting to shoot with RED, and end up post in ProRES HQ 422....not even post in Uncompressed 422.

The S-Log 4:4:4 upgrade has arrived.
The fact remains that only small pool of people will really have the capacity to work on projects when highest quality is within the expectancy of the budget given.
However, we want to encourage people to grow in the knowledge of what is available in the market and when opportunity arises there are pool of people who knows how to handle such demands.

BTW the S-LOG LUT through HS SDI also improve the HD SDI output which widens the dynamic range with any SDI 4:2:2 recorders.
