ya really headache in choosing between this 2 models....
nex 5 is good in its size and compact..but i actually have no faith in Sony as current my sony camera is really cannot make it.... it actually cannot stand the cold weather and it vibrate till i cannot take any photos...ya..is vibrate, u didnt see wrongly.....

i thought the $300 voucher is only for those single kit not for dual kit Nex...so that the buyer can top up and but the other kit lens

yes! Its a good price currently.

My guess the cold affected the movement sensor causing the anti-vibration to hunt, trying to correct the problem. What temp were you in? I used the NEX5 at -5 deg on a mountain top and it was ok but then again, the NEX5 has no anti-shake.

I am at Hk tat day..was abt 10 deg.

Before antishake was invented a few years back, millions have been taking photos without it. So I think unless you take in low light or your hand really so unsteady, you may not notice any difference especially since the sensor is a low noise performer.
