Sony NEX F3 or 5N?

Thanks for sharing tsammyc. From your experience, using native E lens and LA-EA 1 +a mount lens. is there any difference (exclude weight issues) ? Eg: focus speed.

If comparing book price, getting LA-EA2 + a mount 35mm still cheaper than CZ 24

And for babies, you want to avoid using flash, as you dont want to scare them, and some pple say that flash not good for their eyes.. not sure if medically verified, but as a parent, I dont take chances. The NEX system is able to shoot very well in low-light conditions, so is good without using flash. My flash module is still pretty brand new, and I can count the number of times I use it with one hand.

There is no such thing, please do not spread such ideas before doing a quick google search or asking a doctor.. this is how myths get spread! Don't worry, flash is harmless. Using high iso and bounced flash as fill light can get nice results.

Ok my bad, its just a personal view. Medically, maybe no basis according to google and docs, but personally I have seen babies n toddlers crying as a result of a sudden flash. Some parents may not accept that, n I'm not sure whether TS is one.

From my experience.. with La-ea1 the A mount lenses will take about 3-5 seconds (only SAM N SSM lenses) to achieve focus. Whereas the native E lens will achieve focus at almost instant as soon you press the shutter button.

Comparing book price...of cos getting the first combo will be cheaper than CZ24..since the 35mm is a normal cheap plastic lens..when the latter is a lens from a big name Carl Zeiss. Price aside..you have to bare in mind...1 is 35mm another is 24mm...its different altogether..

Agree... Zeiss will always have a special popping (3D) picture feel as compared to normal Sony lenses I feel.

Agree... Zeiss will always have a special popping (3D) picture feel as compared to normal Sony lenses I feel.

Same for Leica lenses

Nope. But there appears to be a little bit of crop factor when used

erm..no..my 24-70 still shoots at F2.8 when i use it on the NEx5 with LA-EA1 and 2.

sharpness ..?? i guess the AF is slower..but how slow.. on Nex body ? Care to share ?
