then i guess i hold the sales of my 75-300 until the sony alpha crowd comes along :bsmilie:

in a way, your action is a pretty speculative one. must remember that those new comers using sony are pretty likely to want latest modern lenses(otherwise why they choose sony). minoltians like us know how precious all these old lenses are. sonynians(ewww.....), mainly ameuters are pretty likely to go for the new lenses sony is going to release.

so if you want to sell your lens, in my opinion, selling now could fetch a higher price. or you can keep it for a few decades, by then, the price of this lens should be worth a few thousand dollars.:bsmilie:

the prices that people want to buy my 75-300 also not high in any sense...rather keep it than make a big loss selling it now... anyway for consumer lense wise for the range there is no really other sony lens covering that range in their current lens lineup.......dun talk abt 70-200 ssm la that one is different class.

no lah just that i feel it's a bit redundant to have a 70-210 and a 75-300...somemore dry cabinet running out of space >_<

i doubt if it would be long before sony users realise how expensive the new range of lenses are, and discover the trove of old but good KM lenses (A-mount, even MD mount) at a fraction of the price for cz/sonys. then the mad rush will begin. just like KM users, of course except the few with bottomless wallets...

I go get it liao. :) cheong ah... before somebody get it before me. ;)
