I got my EX1 3 weeks ago. I am Vegas users.
I have tried P2, XDCAM & AVCHD imports and all works great with FCP.
You can choose to import natively or into your preferred working format, and best part is that you can carry on editing while importing in the background.
R u refering to Z7? We had a hands on last week at the launch. Very nice to be handheld compared to EX1. But the EX1's LCD and resolution blows everyone away. I managed to get a nice DOF in a dimly lit room even.
Hey but which is better? the Sony EX1 or the Panasonic HVX202 in terms of quality and color?
Yes, of course but on 40" Bravia only...yet to try it on 52" Bravia...I get it at expandore...about $12k with accessories...Nice stuff John! Have u attempted composite output to a FULL HD LCD TV? BTW where did u get the EX and how much?
Most of the couples prefer to be as clear as possible...but I do face one of the couple prefer to add some soft effect...wow.. very sharp.. very detail..!!
wonder if client will worry abt the pimples and flackers on their faces.. just kidding..![]()
agree but I prefer to maintain the details then add soft effect during post production when it is needed especially closeup...ha ha dun worry, the EX has a function called "detail" which could be tuned to reduce the sharpness. That also means out of focus is totally unacceptable!
