if you are from singapore, just head down to any of the Sony Style Galleries to try and test the features.

yes i have ask the saleperson! but i dont take wholesale of info from them! anyone bought it and used b4. their review weight more than the saleperson!:bsmilie:

this shld be compared to Panasonic SD10 / TM10 .. similar spec.. but panasonic is cheaper

actually the price of this CX-100 can get Panasonic TM200 which will probably delivery better video with its 3MOS sensors.. chl it out

Sony has got a few things right with this model by giving it the features of the more high end models like battery options, hdmi and a plethora of software enhancements plus relatively easy interface and very intuitive menu. Even better if you have a Bravia tv to hook it up to. This is more for the person who wants a camcorder that will do all the work with minimum user effort.

If i remember correctly, unlike Canon...can transfer data from camcorder to pc without having to connect to power.

Tradeoff offhand is a smaller sensor size, memory stick only.

AS compared the cx100 they do not have remote control no 5.1 surround mic... no night shot .. the memory stick is so expensive no optical image stability only digital i would rather go for Panasonic HS20 hdd almost same price ... try to look for Shawn in mustafa i just bought a TM300 from him ....has good explanation ;)

cx100 price i think can get panasonic TM200.. which is like.. way way way better la.. 3cmos, optical IS, great IA, great low light recording, cheap SD card (anyway build in 16gb already)..
