This Sony A7ii is a full frame camera using the E-mount lens ?

So that means I can use the same lens that I used with my Sony A5000 and VG30 ?

Did I understand wrongly ?

Thanks

Yes you can. But take note that the camera will automatically switch to APS-C mode when it detects a APS-C Sony E-mount lens.

Test by EOSHD:

There's improvement compared to without IBIS (currently have A7s+55m/1.8 on loan - pretty much unusable handheld!), but looks like there's still a fair bit of micro jitter, but perhaps he was trying to push it too hard (e.g. holding the camera out with extended arms).

Oh then the advertisement is very misleading to say that this is a E-mount camera.

I thought it was amazing that an E-mount lens made for APS-C cameras can be used to become a full frame camera ... Hahaha ... wishful thinking, i suppose ... :)

The A7 range of cameras are all E-mount cameras and are all full-frame. There are E-mount lenses (FE) that cover full-frame.

It's not wrong, as it IS indeed an E-mount camera.
In Sony's current line-up, there's E-mount APS-C and E-mount Full Frame.
There's also A-mount APS-C and A-mount Full Frame.
