Taken at Defu lane temple while sending off the god. It just like a mini Chingay parade.

Hi guys. I'm a new A77, and just started photography as a job. I would like to ask if any of you have problems with your printings where your colours get washed out? Cos i just started on printing on my own and from what I see is that Sony's colours are so digital that it affects the prints. Anyone know how to solve this issue? Really need all the help I can get.

After every shoot, i put all the pics into lightroom. Then i adjust the white balance. After that i set exposure and contrast. Then i usually bump saturation to about +30. It depends on your shots. Sometimes a +20 can do the job well. Sometimes even +40 is not enough. So its really up to you. If im not happy with the result i play a little bit more with white balance and vibrance.

Sometimes the noise on a77 can affect image quality so i will check and remove noise in photoshop because photoshop is better in that aspect.

Hope I helped.

Ps: dont use sony's supplied software. Its quite laggy.

ok. thank you mr blur. i will keep that in mind :) one more question, where do you guys do printing? any place to recommendations? i'm gonna be printing in bulk, so need to know where can print good quality stuff and at a reasonable rate.

I usually do small prints at home. Try sim lim. Maybe they have a printer you will like there.
