Sony Alpha SLT A77/A65 Photo Thread

Sharing some panorama shots...

View from the backlane in Jiufen, Taiwan. The sun was strong and shone through the distant heavy downpour, this pic doesn't do justice to the actual view but is one of my favorite.

Bay of Two Colors (Yin Yang Hai), Jinguaishi. The golden-brownish colour is formed from the iron and copper deposits and further away becomes ocean blue.

National Palace Museum, Taipei. Thought of cloning away the luggage on the left, do you find it distractive?

Must clean your sensor. I see dust.

That's one thing ive notice with A77 sensor its dust magnet my A33 I never had this issue my A77 had this twice now since I bought good is I bring it to Sony CS and have it clean and check at the same time.

Likewise when I had my a77, and worse with the shallow-bodied NEX-7, and always when I'm in the field! a900 doesn't seem to be as "magnetic."

For the times when the bulb blower won't do the job, I keep Zeiss Wipes in my bag. Careful use with a light touch has saved the day (and a trip to Sony) for me more than once.

I am scared to do self sensor cleaning :-(....

I think the NEX7 and A77 Sensor coating has got to do with the dust issue...

Same here, I noticed A77 is really prone to dust. First day of using it, dust was visible when I had just changed the lens twice (indoor)
albertri, you meant you had sent it to SCS for cleaning?

Trying some vintage effect....

yep if the blower cant remove the dust I normally send it for cleaning and general check up normally now it just take 2-3 days you should have your cam back :-)

Pix taken July 22nd just a day after Beijing's worst storm/rain in 60 years that week Beijing like it's usual day was hazy, the haze was so bad it look like you're in Autumn morning very foggy. The Saturday afternoon the rain starts luckily I manage to get back to the hotel before the rain got worst. The following day my friend bring me here and like they said after a storm normally the sky is very clear and here's some pix taken

I dont think so. Jpg from this camera has pretty flat colours. Unless he tweak the picture mode.

Hi bros yeah it's not JPEG it's RAw converted in LR4 adjust a little bit of the shadows and highlights to show some details the rest are as-is :-) the DR of this cam is really good some even asking if this is HDR or merged photos I said nope all pix are from single shot and just process a bit using LR and convert to JPEG :-)

Plus the lens is pretty good also :-) I have with my tokina 11-16 that day but opt to use the 16-80 lolz

The CZ 16-80mm and the a77 are pretty much alchemy, anyway, especially after Sony put autocorrections for it in the most recent a77 firmware.

Super shots, bro!
