Light is low and hand is shaky. I am also worried that another lady behind me will splash water on me.
:-)

Finally my Nikkor to MA adaptor had arrive! Photos below are OOC and just purely testing. The Adaptor used was with glass so there might be some IQ loss... I haven't tried the glass less yet =) and I am still getting use to the peaking features =)

Excellent sharpness.

thanks bro tha lens was sharp this is with glass adaptor to be able to focus to infinity will try to use the glassless (Macro shooting only) see if the sharpness will improve more.

Any expert can guide me again? What does peaking means?

It's a new feature on the A65 and A77 where the display highlight areas of highest contrast which are the areas in sharpest focus. works only in manual focus.

Basically a feature to aid manual focus instead of relying on the eye to see if it's sharp.

Eye estimation with current breed of DSLR is difficult due to the focusing screen. It might look blur due to your eyesight. If you have a split focusing screen, it helps but will still be a problem in low light.

Dear Albertri,

sorry to ask newbie question.

How do you post this with the picture embedded (instead of a link like my post above)?

thanks in advanced.

what am I doing wrong?

Go to your image page, right click and choose "Properties" at the bottom, copy the address(URL) there.
Go back to your forum post, select "Go Advance" ...click the "Insert Image" icon at the top menu and paste in your URL

I did this example for you:

Waaa! So detail! May I know what setting do you use? Using Tripod too?

thanks bro here's my exif

f9
1/200sec
ISO-100
Spot Metering
300mm
hand held (just use the wall to stabalished the lens)

What I did was convert RAW to JPEG, correct the WB/Exposure and disbled the NR this makes the pix more detailed and also change the creative setting to "deep" and crop the pix cox my lens is only 300mm but i think majority was of the lens the new Tamron 70-300 USD VC was really sharp lens.

Cropping 24MP is cool coz you still retains a lot of details =)
