tks for all the infor me also thiking of getting one .As try taking indr photo wif SP mode 1/100 pictuer quite dark but if use flash is like very bright till got shadow behine it wif external flash at least can flap the angle and left or right .

highly doubt so but now all we can do is wait for stocks to come in...

Coz I have friends who are going to HK, and I was thinking of asking them to get this for me..
So it'll be good if I can tell them where to get the flash from..
The thing abt asking for a favor, can't really ask them to go around many shops to compare prices..

The usual shops like Wing Shing and Man Shing should be quite safe. They are located at Mong Kok area.

from another thread, there was talk that the warranty can be converted to International.
However,when I was visiting Japan, I remember asking the Sony salesmen whether the warranty for flash can be converted to international, they mentioned that the warranty is only local warranty.

I'm not sure about HK.. anyone had experience before ? converting warranty to international for flash?

Not sure about flash, but body & lenses can be converted to int'l warranty.
