The Cron 90 is great regardless of version. If u are using it for A7 only and not other m mount camera, then I suggest the R 90 cron instead. Slightly smaller than the early M mount cron and similar quality. Its not cheap thats why Im still trying to hunt one down. Still my choice if I have to go down to 3 basic lenses are the Minolta 24, 58 and 85.

Has been this choice since many moon ago for both performance and price.

How is the cron 90? Is it easy to focus with the Sony A7/R?
Seriously considering this. Please poison me. ;)

the focusing is good with a7 but mine was the second or third version of cron 90 m but is a good oldie =)

Bro cron-r 90 is cheap less than the rokkor 58/1.2 :-)

Great shot but personally find the bokeh behind a bit distracting and busy. This is the lens after the famous green star A 85 f1.4?

Are those banding? I did notice this also with my CV35f1.2 when shooting landscape and JPEG I have not tried shooting landscape again and raw.

haha that's banding from recovering highlights in a single jpeg file. pretty good DR already for a jpeg hehe

Yeah same for me also since I am not into stitching or overlapping multiple photos to get better DR I don't do this nor do HDR. Same issue also for me when tried to recover highlights or shadows using JPEG.
