A7R + SMC Takumar 55 f/1.8 - Shot wide open

My 2nd shot with a manual lens..coming from AF all this while. I'm addicted to nailing the focus!!!:embrass:

Ha..ha...

And its not very big, all metal build and no issues on A7. :D

New King of Poison in the house... Yeah... Keep it up bro... Post Post Post (PPP) :bsmilie:

Voigtlander 35mm f/1.7 Ultron ASPH... May not match bro pinholecamera's Pentax FA31Ltd...

Many wides can claim to be fast, but not all wides got this sort of bokeh ;)
Ah, for that photo, the 30cm min focusing distance of this FA31 is really handy as well! :)

A7 | Voigtlander 12/5.6 V.2

Some photos from my recent trip to Kota Kinabalu

nice results!

I am surprise by the flare resistance of the J3 shot into the Sun.

For the CV15, do you do any special processing for the edge issues? (are the edges are cropped off in the 5x7 format?)

CV35/2.5...interesting... is it sharp from edge to edge stopped down to f8, f11?
Trying to see if there is a good RF 35mm walk around lens to consider (one that does not burn too big a hole in the pocket, of course) :D

Thx

some dirty test of Lux-80 on A7r

All shot at wide open

Pinholecam bro, do you need an adpater for this FA31 lens, the bokeh looks very good!!!
Will be saving up for 1.

I am using it with a Pentax K to NEX adapter.
Its a nice SLR lens

No AF of course. :D
I'd buy both a A7 and A7r if it has AF for the Pentax lenses :D

Ah, for that photo, the 30cm min focusing distance of this FA31 is really handy as well! :)

Yeah, good min focus distance is certainly convenient.
One of the things that SLR lenses are better at over RF ones.
The RF ones, I have to adjust the helicoid adapter to get to close focus that SLR lenses do 'automatically'.
I also got a cheapo EOS>NEX helicoid adapter and that can be further adapter to other mounts (eg. F mount; K-mount)
So SLR lenses on that go to near macro

I might get a K>M adapter like yours, so that I can use my Hawks helicoid adapter in this manner too.
