Hi

Not a world beater photo, and I was also trying out the Lock-On AF of the A7 (which worked amazingly well I have to say - those phase detect pixels finally put to good use), but here's one in the spirit of the recently concluded Sochi Olympics:

Not adjusted in any way - straight from camera (wireless of course), Lock-On AF tracking subject and continuous shooting with speed priority. I have a whole sequence all perfectly focused. In this good light at least, the A7 does track pretty ok.

my line of work bro emails is ok using HP, tablet etc... but since I need to do floor plans/layout I would need laptop to work

hehe I have some pix but I think most failed lor :-( learning how to shoot moving subject on MF.. one technique I know is panning like this but sadly only can take side view
 

Good enuff.... trial and error. Do burst mode can capture more and filter out the blur ones
