haha.. how to check such thing if you go with family :)

which resort is this? looks nice and empty (prob due to season). which manual lens are you adapting for the WA shots? looks like mild magenta corners that can be fixed easily with the lens compensation app

very nice! got the holiday feel :) ice cold beer with the warm setting sun

Ya, makes me wanna take leave now, book a flight later and fly to Bali this afternoon... But... reality bites... :what:

it's Mulia Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali
the resort and private beach is really quiet... maybe because it's very big
it's 30 acre size resort bro..
very nice to relax and have a quality time

i only have CV 21mm f/1.8 for WA lens..
in this trip i only shot with CV 21mm and FE 35mm
it's more than enough for my usage.. :)

have not tried the lens compensation app.. must be very handy i guess

Very clean, i did the same shots with my a77, but its abit nosier

Had a visit to the SEA aquarium. Really looked forward to testing it out under really low light environment. Here's some better shots:

Just some comments. Most of the shots were taken under AUTO mode and most of these in focus were slow moving fishes. I didn't manage to most of the fast swiming coral fishes in focus, even with tracking focus under burst mode, i seldom get focus and composition in good balance. I found i get better shots if i locked focus and wait for the fishes to move into position.

But really, the colors were true what was seen with the my eyes and i was the few with mirrorless. It was also the first time in my life that i saw so many DSLRs in a place ( never been to any gatherings/conventions) and everyone was with their big ass DSLR and tripods and flashes. lol.

MC Rokkor 58/1.2, last for the nite...

Merry X Mas eve to all...

nothing much on the streets at 10pm... saw this "sexy" vintage chevy on display in front of a shop.

pretty impressed with the AWB. shots are processed from raw with "as shot" settings, applied sony "vivid" profile in LR5.
