So I can use the SEL1018 E mount on the A7 in FF mode and get no vignetting from 12 mm to 16 mm FOV? (based on what I googled on internet) What does removal of rear baffle do to this? Thanks

If the baffle is not reduced, there would be stronger vignette.

This is so interesting. Was waiting for all the FE lenses, but it seems that the 10-18 is something that I can plausibly get now and use in FF mode without much problems I guess...

Yup. That's why currently, the sigma 60mm f2.8, and the 30mm f2.8 and this 10-18 can be effectively used on full frame a7 without much hassle , which is a very pleasant discovery for peeps looking for usable lens on the A7

A7 with 180mm f/2.8 APO-Elmarit-R at f/2.8, cropped at about 60%:

Ooops, I think this next one was my NEX-7 with the birding setup, cropped at about 40%; but I think nobody cares which camera got the shot . . .
