i played with it for a while at sony wisma.

the size and weight was not too bad actually. use it without the hood and it isn't much longer then the 55 1.8

not much interesting subjects to shoot though at sony in terms of portaits

all at F1.4, A7R. honestly i didn't see a "wow factor" from the images coming out from the CZ 50 1.4 for the price to pay. Mechanically it was superbly built though. nice zoom ring with metal body

thanks bro. for this series, i increased the saturation. but straight ooc jpgs are pretty good i must say.

Very nice, may I ask using this combo, are you able to set the phase detect area setting to on or is it greyed out?

thanks bro. frankly i don't know and just tested it
this is what i found out - phase detect doesn't work with this combo. and i think it wont work with a-mount lenses & laea4. i believe AF is done by the laea4 and not the body, hence, no phase detect by A7 main sesnor. i also tested my SEL16F28 on the A7, same thing, the phase detect setting is turned off. only when i mounted the 28-70 kit lens, then it showed up.
