Orchard Road with A7r and Pentax FA77

The processing looks odd, the colors look like from those early digi cams 15 years ago or a bit like those HDR filters nowadays. Maybe it's just the white balance...

It's the lighting on Orchard road at night, which is a lot of blue and white led's from the Christmas lights as the Govt said not to use green and red. Don't want anymore Ferrari crashes I guess. The full frame Sony sensor turns night to day, but it's not really day as its a lot of coloured artificial lighting. Overall, the A7r white balance seems better than the NEX. These were all shot JPEG. Although I did lift some shadows, I didn't alter colour.

A7/Rs are really realising the potentials of these Leica, Zeiss, Voigtlander lenses...

I just got delivery of my helicoid leica m to nex adaptor today. Makes this bokeh monster even more versatile

Thanks, haha. Yeah, got it from someone very soon after the adv. Interested to try CV 21/1.8, but the purple cast had me worried a bit.

What brand is your helicoid adaptor? I saw a few on ebay, But not sure good or not.

Heard from Chii Fei from Chiif tat d cv21/1.8 works well on A7.

Hawk factory adaptor is good.

D only worthy FE lens to buy when its out is 55/1.8 Zeiss for now. Ample sharp n gives a pop. Bokeh is sweet almost like lux 50/1.4 asph.

I'm holding out till they produce a FE Zeiss 50/1.4 lens. Sticking to my canon ltm 50/1.4 for now.
