Hi T3rmite,

yes the AF on the A7S is definitely an improvement over my previous A7 and A7R, particularly in low light and indoors.. resolution wise of course it loses out, but 12 MP is enough for me, plus the good ISO performance makes things even better.

Price is surprising cheap. Just $120k for the lens.

This one at F/10 also looks like F1.8 bokeh on the Sony.

ha that bad ah? if the 40D with any lens at F8 looks like the F1.8 bokeh on the sony, your 40D must have a magic sensor

Me like the A7s with manual lens. The FE 55 combo looks good. A7 series generally with manual lenses are good. Really a joy to see so many nice photos. also a revelation to know 40D with manual lens at f8 can have A7 f1.8 look. Will seriously hunt for 40D as I am a cheapo. Just waiting for bro coldfish to post some of f8 to f11 photos on 40D so I can go and hunt one right away. Thanks everyone

No sir not wide open took @ smaller aperture around from 15-30 secs can see the exif from Flickr :/)
