FE 55/1.8... "The Camper"

Here is a screen shot of the folder with the jpg in camera uploaded and the RAW files adjusted. I think the colourcast can be seen clearly.
Those not having colour casting, what settings are you using? BTW i read somewhere that the colour casting is mostly seen in the 35mm and not in the 55mm.

looks more like underexposed to me for these shots?

i agree. the shots look more underexposed.

but there's a slight bluish tint. could be the camera compensating for the orange/yellow tungsten light.

Is it common for Camera to have such issue when there's tungsten lighting?

I had a few shots due to lighting on my camera (non-sony)....

Possibly if your shutter speed is much faster than 1/60.

for those shots in that screen cap should be because of mixed lighting. tungsten light + natural lighting. Camera awb for tungsten and natural light will appear more blue

Based on the top 3 photos, the flash was under exposing.
The back people were illuminated enough by the tungsten lighting at the back.
The front ppl were not.
Since WB is adjusting for the tungsten lit environment (ie. add blue), those in the front look blueish.

If flash fires off and exposes properly (as in the later shots), it 'kills off' most of the ambient lighting and usually WB goes to the value close to that of the flash (ie. 5100k iirc)

One way to save is to use the brush tool in LR 4 and up.
Another is to process with two differnt WB, then blend them in in PS.
Even just correcting the exposure and warming up the WB may work well enough (just like the orangey parts be more orangey)

My few cents

yes and i agree. it has more to do with the mixture of different color temperatures than shutter speed.

shutter speed will affect the lighting more if it's florescent lighting due to the flickering of the light (the refresh rate)

A7 + Minolta AF 200mm F2.8 APO

Testing my el-cheapo el-transformer Kimunor 500mm f8 (not the sharpest lens but I think can already for the price). I call this lens chop-chop + A7r

Pix is cropped around 70% did abit of PP (convert to b&w and adjusted exposure) this was RAW converted using LR5.3
