hmmmm maybe I'll pass the 55 FE it's sharp but dont have the pop and smooth bokeh like your Rokkor

It does haf d pop n d Bokeh is pretty smooth. Its a different beast. Very good for general shooting. MC Rokkor is for special occasions.

The first one is low light. Haha. Iso think 2500.

bro you making green on envy with your Soligor :-) I wish I bidded harder for it on evil-bay hehehe.

Was wondering how's the Canon FL 19mm R on A7/r if this lens still like my Vivitar 17mm I will stop hunting for UWA and maybe will just wait for FE Sony lens to come out.

Seems like DPR also did a manual lens on A7 usage report and the writer also used a Vivitar 17mm which he said had poor results.

On the Soligor, it seems to come 'alive' on A7 (FF).
Before than, 17mm on aps-c was no incentive to use it (sat int he dry cab for many years until I got a 5D)

I have a FD20/2.8 that I should be trying out shortly.
Will post the results when I do that.

Likely, OEM stuff will be ok.

ha let me share another F 1.2 shot then

EF 50mm F1.2L with Techart smart adaptor. focusing may be slower but more accurate then with my 5D3 at close focus/MFD distances!

next up 2 shots from the EF 16-35 2.8 mk 1 with Techart Adaptor @ 16mm F8 with a Tianya ND grad filter

apart from the large size i am actually quite happy with how this EF lens is performing on the A7r

Corners seems heavily vignetted. Is it a lens issue or filter issue?

that's the tianya square ND grad filter. It's a soft grad so the graduation is much more deeper at the edge. u can see it only impacts the sky but not the trees below.

hehe no money to buy the good ND hard grad filters. but without this soft grad the skies will be washed out white, not nice hehe backlit environment
