Hi everyone!

Happy New Year!

I took the leap and bought an A7Rii after abt three years with my Olympus EM5.

Any shooting tips anyone could share having switched from cropped sensors to full frame?

You need to take note of the DOF when shooting.

Full frame sensor is very selfish when comes to dishing out DOF. ;)

Not much tips to share actually. Its still the same kind of settings you will be playing with to get your desired picture/results.

Shoot more and eventually, slowly you will understand or find out the differences between them. Congratz on your new gadget though.

Cheers.

Took the leap and got the A7rII as well and with the focus peaking, got the Samyang 85mm f/1.4 as well.
Went out yesterday to give them a try:

Testing the A7 with the old Minolta 11-18 DT lens.. at around 14mm there is no more vignetting on the corners and this is even slightly wider as compared to the nex 5N with the same lens at 11mm
