For ultra wide and large format, it is quite popular! I saw many company sell the GND center filter for their large format lens to deal with the vignetting. The vignetting is also boosted up when using very dark ND filter as well. I'm trying to utilize this vignetting as special effect!

I have considered the center GND.
But too expensive to buy without first trying it out to confirm it works.

I print my stuff up to A3 and A3+, so I can get rather picky wrt a one image correction even on RAW.
In the end, its still pushing the image on those vignetted areas by as much as 1.5 stops.
Those areas break up much earlier in PP after that.
Its one of the reasons I don't use the correction apps and Adobe Flat Field correction.


As described in the previous post, luckily, there are a few work arounds.
But center GND would be a very good option for a one frame solution.

I have used a ND filter and hence there will some vignetting.

Post-processed wise, only slight sharpening and adjusting of exposure.

These are all shoot in JPEG.

I see, thanks for the share. I was contemplating between CV 12 and Samyang 14 f2.8. Difficult to make a decision since they seem to be built for different purposes
