Oh haha, thanks! It is a great lens, although the reverse zoom kinda irritates me at times.
If your staple focal length is at ultra-wide angle, then this lens is a must have!

I never tried the FE1635 it has the same as sigma A mount 24-70 reverse zoom kinda weird also for me. I think the SAL1635 is good design sadly just huge when paired to A7/x
Actually I wished that the FE 16-35 has an internal zooming design, just like my 16-35L II but aiya, small lens has its limitations, bo bian lor.
Think prices will start coming down again soon. Even now, the used A7R price is quite good for the quality. Pair with RF wide lens like 12mm or 15mm (wait for mk3), it's sharp and compact. Go get it soon

my main usage for A7x, if ever invest on one, as with some other friends is purely for manual lenses, A7/7R is quite hard to use with CV12, I'm waiting for the right body and of course the right BNS priceThink prices will start coming down again soon. Agree yeah, a lot of nice CV12 photos around.
12mm is really a challenge to use, so many things within the frame to take care of.
