Was it hard to nail focus? Haven't tried focus peaking on A7 but on Fuji it takes quite a bit of time which usually is already too long.

IMO, focus peaking is more accurate f2.5 and up.
Faster than that, its better to use magnification.

That said, in poorer light, its generally more decisive than AF for me. :D

after a while, you won't even need to use peaking or magnification ;)

The 83mm Haida holder but need to turn 90 degrees else sides will get blocked. They told me a new one with less vignette coming so I am waiting for it.

wow awesome.... day time lightning is something i have yet to capture before.
