wow beautiful shots with the 16mm F2.8 pancake!

colors and DR of the A7R is really superb for nightscapes

too bad it's no longer a pancake lens with the vcl-ecu1 attached, but the size is still fairly small and i like how it looks.:D

agree! and bang for the bucks too this set up. how's the corner performance with the wide angle adaptor on full frame mode? how's it compared to the SEL10-18 on full frame mode?

just love how silver/chrome lenses look on the a7 series

as can be expected, corner performance for both 10-18 and 16mm are about the same, not so good. but heck i still like the overall outcomeツ. amazingly the vivitar 17mm performs slightly better, probably because it's a true full frame lens.

i like the look of your cv12 bro, very classic!

budget ff uwa lens, a surprisingly good performer! i actually prefer using this over the 10-18 and 16mm lenses.

Looks good. I was using Minolta 20mm f2.8 with EA4 before I got the VC12. It's not bad too.

too bad the cv12 and cv15 do not work well on the a7r. the minolta 20mm is good, unfortunately too bulky for me with the adapter.

One of the reason why I sold and the other being the FE UWA coming out soon. The buyer is a friend who use Sony DSLR so it works very well for him.

haha the mistaken?

sorry! Autocorrect from iPhone.

I mean to say the Mitakon looks nice and sharp!

I compared 100% images from voigtlander 50 mm F1.1 and the Mtakon F0.95. The Mitakon looks like it was able to pick out sharper images at widest aperture?

Can anyone advice?

i've owned the voigtlander 50mm F1.1 before, and my personal view is that the mitakon is a better rendering lens than the voigtlander 1.1, and sharper too.... would recommend going for the mitakon since they are priced similarly, unless you are after the smaller size of the voigtlander.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, size n weight are important too. I guess it's deciding which to trade off? Haha.
