rendering is quite similar to the FD55mm F1.2 SSC, just contrast is a little lower. some of the fast lenses improve when you are shooting subjects further from MFD, portrait distance

Haha test together on Friday. 0.95 vs F1.5 how to compare... But when both are at f1.4/1.5, the cv50 1.5 wins with a rounder bokeh.

Test rokkor against mitakon. Keke. Seeya tomm.

I smell blood lolz matikon is a good lens just that a wrong condition the bokeh kinda makes you giddy looking at it.

yeah contrast is really low for this lens hehe will try more also the filter is kinda stuck will need to try to remove it, it's skylight 1b I think kinda redish cast

U should add my Zenitar 50/2 to the test too. Poor man's lens but wow

come join us tomorrow for lunch ard raffles place then :) bring the zenitar hehe

Something i always wanted to capture since i went there 4yrs ago and managed to capture it this trip.
Taken with A7r and the SEL1018 @ 10mm in APS-C mode. This is the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building in Dubai.
Granted it a little slanted :) It was hard to frame in the dark and on the floor :) and i thought it looked ok on the LCD...i guess on the computer it wasn't but it's too much work to straighten it.

Nice...

somemore from the 50mm F0.95

some colleagues letting me try the new lens. the lens is extremely sharp at portrait distances, slightly less sharp, a little glowy at MFD of 50cm. F0.95 extremely thin DOF increases the difficulty in getting shots of a moving baby haha.
