Some testing shots comparing SAL85F14Z with my Contax CZ Planar 85mm f1.4. Prior to auto-leveling in C1, the Contax shots looks less contrasty as you expect from an old lens. After leveling, they look very similar.

I think I'll wait for price to drop, maybe X'mas or CNY promo?? $1.8k quite expensive for a f4 zoom I feel and I don't really need it urgently yet. I would be hoping to get it before a possible trip mid next year
